Discover the newly opened family exhibition 'Monsters - ugly creatures with big feelings' during the Easter holidays. The artist behind the exhibition is Shane Brox, known from several wonderful children's TV programs. He has created 12 wild monsters that have moved into the Casemates at Kronborg Castle.
Each monster presents a particular emotion that we all - children and adults alike - are familiar with.
Among other exciting activities for children during the Easter holidays, we also offer an exciting story hunt for the whole family!
With both the exhibition and the history hunt, you will learn about the castle's unique history, while the kids will have an unforgettable experience during their Easter vacation.
Satisfy your hunger for history at Kronborg Castle
When you enter Kronborg Castle, you are greeted by a sense of history. Here you can experience the Casemates and visit Holger Danske, and you can explore every corner of the old castle. We have lots of fun activities at Easter, including our exciting history hunt, where the whole family can explore and find clues around the castle. Along the way, you will gain insight into the castle's history, and who knows? Maybe you will get a new view of history when you decide how the history hunt ends. If you would rather just explore Kronborg in a normal way, there is also plenty of opportunity to do so. Here you can experience the castle's old Renaissance rooms, and from the windows you can look out over the Sound and across to Sweden. You can also take a walk around the castle and see the large moat and the beautiful old cannons.

It gives you free admission to the castle as well as discounts on admission to other museums under the auspices of the National Museum of Denmark, so you can access many other exciting activities during Easter.

Free admission to Kronborg Castle on all normal opening days
The possibility to invite a guest to the castle on the dates March 18 and November 18.
Discounts on special events during the year. Examples include the Christmas markets 'Christmas at Kronborg', access to the castle when it is open in the evening and concerts.

20% discount on other fun activities for children during the Easter holidays under the auspices of the National Museum of Denmark, such as discounted admission to the National Museum in Copenhagen, Christiansborg Palace, the Open Air Museum and the War Museum.
