What's on at Kronborg Castle

All weekends in April and May

Kronborg's world-famous Renaissance vocal ensemble and house orchestra, Musica Ficta, is back with two concerts in the Dance Hall.

How do children learn to identify, manage and talk about big and sometimes difficult emotions, like jealousy, fear and love? The exhibition 'Monsters - beastly beings with big emotions' by multi-artist Shane Brox focuses on this when it moves into Kronborg Castle's historic casemates. The exhibition also puts into perspective the feelings of the castle's inhabitants over some 500 years.

February 8 to fall 2024.

On selected evenings in April and May, you can experience Kronborg after hours and hear the history of the castle through a special theme.

Come and enjoy a classic Afternoon Tea in the beautiful Parolesal at Kronborg.
The room is part of Frederik V's apartment, and has an interior from the 1700s.

When the castle is closed for the day, we invite you to a very special, atmospheric evening where you get a different taste of Kronborg.

Experience the cannons on the flag bastion being fired as we celebrate the royals.

Kronborg Castle provide fun and games for children and their adults of all ages for hours. The old castle and museum offers activities for children, and is located in North Zealand right next to Øresund.
