At Kronborg Castle, you can join one of our guided tours for a day full of learning, or you can explore the castle on your own. Our guided tours and exhibitions are some of our popular activities for children during the winter holidays. Especially on our guided tours, children can learn about the castle's 600 years of history in a new and exciting way. During the tours, the whole family has the opportunity to ask our castle hosts questions about the castle, and it is an activity where the whole family can take a lot of knowledge home with them. After a day filled with historical knowledge and new activities for the children, you can take a break and buy ice cream, juice or locally brewed beer in our castle shop, which you can enjoy by the fantastic view of the Sound while you gather strength to explore the castle.
Winter holiday tours for children
Make Kronborg Castle's guided tours one of your winter vacation activities. Take a trip back in time on one of our guided tours and experience life in a real castle during your winter vacation. Our castle hosts will show you around the castle and tell exciting stories about the kings and queens of the past. Children will love exploring the beautiful rooms and towers while listening to the amazing stories and learning about the history of Kronborg.

Annual pass
With an annual pass to Kronborg Castle you get access to a lot of educational activities and knowledge for children as well as a lot of benefits at the National Museum's other museums
Free admission to Kronborg Castle all year round on all normal opening days.
The possibility to invite a guest to the castle on the dates March 18 and November 18.
An exclusive discount on special events throughout the year. For example, the Christmas markets 'Christmas at Kronborg', concerts and the like.
10% discount on everything in the castle shop.
20% discount on other museums - for example on admission to the National Museum in Copenhagen, Christiansborg Palace, the Open Air Museum and the War Museum.
