Autumn holidays for children
What are you doing in week 42? A week when many institutions are closed and the kids are at home. If you're looking for activities for children in North Zealand during the fall holidays, visit Kronborg Castle. Kronborg is an exciting destination for families with children who want to explore one of Denmark's most historic castles. The castle hides hundreds of years of history, and the whole family can have a great time at Kronborg Castle.
Explore the Casemates, where Holger Danske sits and sleeps - but be careful not to wake him, because he can only be awakened if Denmark is ever in danger again. Explore the many long corridors, the beautiful and well-preserved halls, the dark and gloomy chambers that tell stories about the kings and queens of the past and let the family have an educational and enjoyable day together.
Fall break activities for kids of all ages
Kronborg's exhibitions and tours give children the opportunity to learn about history in a different and exciting way than in history books.
Whether you're visiting during the fall break or other periods, Kronborg is a great place to visit with children. There are historical activities for children that are hundreds of years old.
When you've spent a day filled with historical and educational activities for children and adults and soaked up a lot of new knowledge, visit the Castle Shop. Here you can buy ice cream, juice or locally brewed beer to enjoy outside. It's the perfect way to end the day.
