Christmas at Kronborg: A unique Christmas market in a beautiful setting

Feel the Christmas spirit spread at Kronborg Castle when we open the gates to our annual Christmas market on the weekends of November 30 - December 1 and December 7-8.

True to tradition, we invite you to a lively market where you can shop for delicious delicacies and unique Christmas gifts, listen to the sounds of the season at intimate concerts and enjoy warm apple slices and pancakes in our beautifully decorated castle courtyard.

Of course, all children can dance around the Christmas tree with Santa, immerse themselves in cozy storytelling, cut and paste in our creative Christmas workshop and meet the castle's residents who will tell you about Christmas in the good old days. The castle's exhibitions are also open, and you are welcome to dive into the dark casemates and meet the legendary hero Holger Danske, who sleeps like a stone.

• Early Bird Price: Adults: 85,- | Children: 45,- | Children under 4 years: Free admission

• Normal Price: Adults: 95,- | Children: 55,- | Children under 4 years: Free admission

• Ticket purchase: Tickets can be purchased online and at Brohuset outside the castle

Note: The ticket covers entrance to the castle, access to the Christmas market and all related activities

Arrival intervals: Choose between two arrival slots (10:00-13:00 and 13:00-17:00) when you book your ticket. Arrive anytime during your chosen time slot and feel free to stay as long as you like - even after 13:00

Parking: As we usually have many visitors to the Christmas market, we recommend that you use public transportation if possible - and otherwise leave home in good time

Attire: We recommend warm clothing as some of the stalls are set up in our outdoor castle courtyard

Dogs and pets: Dogs and other cute pets are welcome in the castle courtyard, but not inside the castle itself

Strollers: Strollers are welcome in the outdoor castle courtyard, but not inside the castle itself, where parts of the Christmas market take place. We recommend baby carriers if possible
