Kronborg after closing time: Scary stories at the locked castle

January and February are all about spookiness. As we make our way around the darkened castle, we delve into some of the more sinister tales from Kronborg's past - hear about everything from slave rebellions to today's unexplained events.

Every Friday in January and February, you can experience Kronborg Castle after closing time and hear the history of the castle through a very special theme. When the castle is ready for the night, the lights in the royal apartment are turned off and all the castle guards have gone home, a guide is ready to invite you inside the quiet, dark castle. Together you move through grand halls, private chambers, up winding staircases and through locked doors illuminated only by the fading evening light and your flashlights. All spiced with the best stories about the 600-year-old castle and its inhabitants.

All evenings end in the old kitchens with a rum ball and a glass of port wine, included in your ticket.
