In Kronborg's impressive Dance Hall, you can recreate Frederik II's lavish parties with a grand gala dinner or a stylish Renaissance tapas.
There's room for both grandiose toasts and intimate conversations while you enjoy the food in the iconic dance hall. The evening can be spiced up with live storytelling as actors from the Hamlet play bring the castle's famous tales to life, or you can try your hand at Renaissance dancing as it was performed at court parties. Sumptuous feasts and a royal rave party
At the king's parties, people went crazy in Renaissance fashion and literally went wild. Because when the music played and the guests toasted, it resounded across the Sound. Every time the king raised his glass, the cannons responded by firing across the strait. And it happened more than a few times, as guests could go through up to 50 courses in one evening. It could take more than 9 hours to get through dinner, often requiring breaks and vomit buckets.
