Every Thursday you can take a bite of Kronborg. We invite you to a very special evening, starting with a guided tour of Frederik II's sumptuous banquets and sink your teeth into delicious food at the long tables in the old kitchens of the castle.

On the castle bridge in front of the big red gate into the castle courtyard.
Meeting time
Between 16:50 - 17:00.
Important: The tour starts exactly at 17:00. If you arrive after, you will unfortunately not be able to join the tour.
The program
- Tour the castle and learn about what people ate and drank at Kronborg during the Renaissance.
- Meal based on seasonal ingredients, served buffet style in the old kitchens.
- Communal dining at long tables, where selected drinks can be purchased.

Before you sit down to dinner, you'll get an exclusive tour of the castle. You'll hear all the wild stories about Frederick II's magnificent feasts, food and drink in the Renaissance and what the servants ate. When your head is full, you're ready to fill your stomach.

Draft beer and fellowship at the long tables
Your stomach is rumbling after exploring the castle. So it's time to sit down in the old kitchens of the castle. There are communal tables set up where you can enjoy delicious dinners and good company in the rooms where hundreds of people have spent their daily lives over the years.

The community dinners at Kronborg are part of Elsinore Evenings. 10 of the city's cultural players open their doors every Thursday or Friday during the dark months, where there is much more to experience and taste.
