Join a Hamlet history hunt and help the court appoint a new regent after the king's untimely death. Try the castle's many activities for children, enjoy the view from the cannon tower and take a walk along the ramparts.
We have exciting experiences for the whole family, and remember, admission is free for children and young people under the age of 18.

Join us on a History Hunt: Who will be the next king?
Prince Hamlet has just returned to the castle, but all is chaos. The king is dead and the kingdom needs a new ruler. Three strong candidates are ready: Hamlet himself, Queen Dowager Gertrude and the mysterious Uncle Claudius. But who has a clean slate - and who is hiding dark motives? Explore the corners of the castle, meet the costumed characters and help question them. Find clues and help decide who will wear the crown.

Feel Kronborg
Discover our fun, interactive stations where you can try your hand at life in a Renaissance castle. Write with a quill pen, talk to the cheeky parrot or fire the air cannon and shoot at the target!

Meet Holger Danske and enjoy the castle
Take a break and grab an ice cream in our café while you gather your strength for a trip to the casemates, where you can meet our snoring legendary hero Holger Danske. Be captivated by the grandeur of the Dance Hall and take the 145 steps up to the Cannon Tower, where you can enjoy the wildest views of the Sound.
