Summer activities in Elsinore - visit the exhibition 'Monster' by Shane Brox
The summer offers many wonderful vacation moments and a lot of free time, where you as a family can enjoy each other's company and go on pleasant excursions or find fun summer vacation activities. In Elsinore at Kronborg Castle, we offer fun guided tours and exciting exhibitions. This year, for example, you can visit the exhibition 'Monster - Ugly creatures with big feelings' by Shane Brox, known from many children's TV programs. A lot of monsters have moved into the Casemates in the basement of the castle and you can explore them. Each monster represents an emotion that we all know - young and old alike - and the exhibition is a great place to talk about all the different emotions we all have. Also, see if you can find Holger Danskethe old legendary hero who sits down in the Casemates and sleeps. If you are looking for other summer activities in Elsinore, where the kids can run off some energy, we recommend a walk around the castle and the moat. Here you can experience the old cannons and look out over the Sound and look across to Sweden.

With an annual pass to Kronborg Castle, you don't just get discounts at the castle - you can also use it elsewhere under the auspices of the National Museum of Denmark.

With an annual pass you get free admission to Kronborg Castle on all normal opening days
You will also have the opportunity to invite a guest to the castle on March 18 and November 18.
With an annual pass, you get discounts on special events throughout the year, such as the Christmas markets 'Christmas at Kronborg'. You also get access to the castle when it is open in the evenings, as well as access to various concerts.
An annual pass also gives you a 10% discount on everything in the castle shop.
You also get a 20% discount on other summer activities for children under the auspices of the National Museum of Denmark, such as discounts on admission to the National Museum in Copenhagen, Christiansborg Palace, the Open Air Museum and the War Museum.
